I have been trying so many things during my maternity leave. Right now I am infatuated with flowers and I am learning to make potpourri. I bought some beautiful pink flowers and I let them die.

I came across Pawel Kadysz's artistic photography work when I was going through a creative block. I have been on Instagram since 2013 and I like to think of myself as a connoisseur to photography series and projects as I have seen so many of them. However, I have never done a project myself so I took to the internet for some inspiration. I found Pawel Kadysz's Darth Vader series on www.tookapic.com. This app and website are for photographer who like to challenge themselves daily. It is different from Instagram in that this app is like old Instagram which used to be about photography and creativity.
Yesterday I took my son to a flower market. It's not the first time he has been to the Columbia Road Flower Market. I remember taking him when he was 2 months old and I was desperate to go out so I took my niece and Mum out for lunch in that area and we ended up at the market. They loved it! And I love this flower market. Unlike some other flower markets in England, this one is outside so you can enjoy the sun whilst looking for a bargain.
