Today's feature is reality TV star, Rupert Frere. I know what you are thinking. Reality star? No, not that kind of reality star. Rupert was a contenstant on Sky TV's Master of Photography 2016. Within a few episodes of watching the show, it became obvious that Rupert was going to be a favourite, not just for his skill in photography, but for his friendly and humble demeanour. Rupert went on to become a runner-up so we decided to catch up with him to see what he's been up to.

What is it about sunsets that make you feel philosophical? I love exploring the world but I believe the best thing about travelling is watching the sun go down from another side of the world. I'm forever chasing a life-affirming sunset. My sister mocks me for the way I chase that perfect sunset. She says that the sun sets the same no matter where you are on an island. I disagree. It's hard to explain how sunsets make me feel. Every sunset is different and every sunset tells its own story about the day. And every sunset looks different depending on where you are viewing it from. I have so many photographs of sunsets but I have managed to narrow down my top 5.

Glacier Crystal Cave tour

I feel like I'm never going to out-do this adventure. I feel like this is why I was born to explore. Exploring a glacier is not something you get to do everyday. It's not something a lot of people get to do at all. How often do you hear someone say "Yesterday I went hiking on a glacier"? After exploring the south of Iceland, we went east.
