I have just done a weather forecast and next week in Iceland is looking like this;
So frankly I'd be a fool not to start thinking about what to pack now, rather than leaving it to the last minute. I have also gained some weight (Diet starts next week 🤞) since having my baby so I have decided to go shopping for new clothes (as if I need an excuse).
Any skier or snowboarder will tell you that snowy and icy weather is all about layers. If you get too hot, you have the option of removing some layers. You don't want to be sweating then going from very hot to very cold because that is how you get ill. Below is a list of all the items that I am taking as a necessity.
1) Thermals (socks, long johns, long sleeved top)
2) Fleece top
3) Waterproof trousers
4) Waterproof jacket
5) Waterproof hiking boots
If you're going to Iceland and don't know what to pack, I have done all the hard work for you. Click the photo of the item you would like and you will be to be directed to the product's website. If you find the post might be useful to someone, please consider sharing.
